Josh Bradbury

Josh Bradbury (3B)
Corona Del Mar High School

Now being named a High School Preseason All American, everyone will know who Josh Bradbury is outside of the Pacific Coast League. He was named the 2003 Pacific Coast League Player of the Year and First Team All CIF-Southern Section. During the high school season he hit .434 with 10 home runs, 10 doubles and 27 runs batted in. Josh is signed with UNLV.

Matt Bush

Matt Bush (SS/RHP)
Mission Bay High School

Matt has lived up the hype over the past years by making the TPX All American list by Collegiate Baseball. Besides making the Baseball Resource All So Cal Team for the last three years, he has also been named CIF San Diego Section Player of the year as a Sophomore and a Junior. Matt Bush is expected to be the top draft pick from the state of California. Besides playing shortstop and hitting .458 with 7 home runs, 7 doubles, 32 runs batted in, and 21 stolen bases. He can also pitch, he went 8-2 with a 1.34 ERA, 86 strikeouts, 21 walks in 86 innings. His velociy is in the 90-92 miles per hour range. Matt Bush has signed with San Diego State.

Jason Dominguez

Chatsworth High School

Jason was a key member in Chatsworth winning the Baseball America's High School Championship. Last season he hit .449 with 9 home runs and 11 doubles and 47 runs batted in for the LA City Section team. On the mound he had a perfect 11-0 record with a 2.60 ERA, 84 strikeouts, 24 walks in 70 innings. Jason Dominguez signed with Pepperdine.

Phil Hughes

Foothill High School

Projected by many Major League scouts as the Preseason High Schools best pitcher in Southern California. In 2003 he earned "All CIF Southern Section Player of the Year". Last year he was a perfect 12-0 with a 0.78 ERA, 7 complete games, 85 strikeouts, 19 walks in 72 innings. Phil Hughes has signed with Santa Clara University. He is also a 2 time member of the Baseball Resource All So Cal Team.

Trevor Plouffe

Crespi High School

Some of the awards Trevor Plouffe has aquired over the past year include the CIF Division III Player of the Year, So Cal Cup Most Valuable Player and a All American. His stocked has risen tremendously over past 6 months and Scouts like his projection. Trevor Plouffe's first Varsity start as a freshman was a no-hitter on opening day of the High School season versus Leuzinger. Since then Trevor has emerged into one of Southern California's premiere baseball atheletes. In 2003 he was 13-1 with a 0.71 ERA, 105 strikeouts, 22 walks in 99 innings on the mound. Offensively he hit .500 with 6 home runs, 14 doubles, 47 runs batted in, and 17 stolen bases while playing shortstop. Trevor Plouffe is committed to USC.

Matt Cusick

Matt Cusick (SS)
Santa Margarita High School

Matt hit .358 with 3 home runs, 10 doubles, 18 runs batted in and 2 stolen bases. The 6', 180lb. Senior has started in a school record 84 consecutive games. He was named to the All Tournament Team for the Connie Mack World Series where he hit .455 for the Encinitas Reds during the Summer of 2003. Matt was also a member the Mission Viejo Little League Team that played in Williamsport, PA for the Little League World Series Championship. Cusick was selected as a member of the Orange County team for the So Cal Cup in January 2004. He is signed with USC.

Mark Trumbo

Justin Snyder (2B)
El Capitan High School

Justin hit .407 with 3 home runs, 13 doubles, 17 stolen bases, 50 runs scored, 22 runs batted in with a .507 on base percentage. Justin Snyder had a .440 batting average as a sophomore and was heavily recruited by San Diego State, Long Beach State and UC Irvine. Some of Justin's other awards include, 03 All East County team, 2nd Team All CIF-San Diego. He was also selected as a member of the San Diego County team for the So Cal Cup in January 2004. Justin Snyder is signed with University of San Diego.

Mark Trumbo

Mark Trumbo (RHP)
Villa Park High School

The 6'4" 200lb righthanded pitcher was 9-3 with a 1.41 ERA, 10 complete games, 3 saves, 88 strikeouts, 28 base on balls in 84.3 innings pitched. Trumbo was a member of the 2003 Milwaukee Brewers Area Code Baseball team, during the Area Code games he was named the fourth best fastball pitcher behind 1st Team All Americans Phil Hughes and Matt Bush. Also had the 5th best curveball during the Area Code Baseball games, according to Baseball America Magazine. As a sophomore he was named All CIF Division II Player of the Year. He was also a 1st Team Baseball Resource All So Cal Team for for the last two seasons. Mark Trumbo is signed with USC.
