Is it Orange County, Riverside, Los Angeles or San Diego? Lets find out in a battle of Southern California's best talent in the So Cal Cup Series. Where the best will play in the best! You will play for the county you live in.

Who plays on what team?
Team San Diego County - San Diego and Imperial Counties

Team Riverside County - Riverside and San Bernardino Counties

Team Orange County - Orange County

Team Los Angeles County - Los Angeles, Ventura, Santa Barbara and cities included in San Luis Obispo

Who are the coaches?
Mainly travel ball coaches due to the fact that it is a dead period for Division I schools. Many Major League scouts will be in attendance for this event.

Who can play?

All high school players in the class of 2004 - 2007. Everyone can fill out an invitation form, only the top players in Southern California will be selected to play in this event. When you fill out the form, please fill out as much information as possible so we can make a better evaluation. If you are referred by a major league scout or travel ball coach please add his name and number on the list.

What is the cost?
Only $45 for a three game series! All players will receive a t-shirt/jersey for the three game series, all players must wear their perspective high school baseball cap or a Baseball Resource hat. White or grey baseball pants and metal cleats are also required. Please bring your own batting helmet if you have one. Catchers must bring their own catching gear.

When is the last day to register?
December 7th, 2003 is the last day to register. We will notify players who make the team no later then December 10th, 2003.


Is it Wood or Aluminum?
The only way to showcase the best talent is to use Wood Bat.
Akadema will make maple wood bats available for the cost of $45 per bat. If you would like to purchase 3 or more bats contact Denny Henderson at 714-532-2359

What is the format?

Round Robin, everyone plays each other one time. 3 game series. 9 innings, if the teams roster does not fill all 13 spots for pitchers we will have a 7 inning game. 5 Batters will bat per inning. Pitchers pitch in only 1 inning per day, 5 batters. 2 Days maximum, no pitcher will pitch more then 2 days, 2 innings, 10 batters. Batters will bat in consecutive batting order, all players will split their time defensively 50/50 and catcherswill be 3 innings per game. Any runner left on base when the inning is over after the 5 batters will return to base that following inning to allow for more scoring.

Where should I stay at if I need lodging?

The Crowne Plaza in Anaheim has set up a block of rooms for this event at the cost of $89.00 per night, which includes a full breakfeast buffet! You have the option to book ahead of time and save money, if you sign up for lodging 21 days ahead of time ( Before December 11th) you can get the rooms at a lower rate. Medical Release and Sign Up Information:

Once we finalize everything we will start sending out the medical release forms and sign up sheets. Payment must be made when the medical release sheet is filled out.
